NSW:Invaders break man's arm with bat

Home invaders have broken a man's arm with a cricket bat at Campbelltown in Sydney's southwest.

Police say three men pushed their way inside a home on Colonial Street about 8.00 (AEDT)
last night .. and found a 26-year-old man in a bedroom.

Despite the broken arm .. the man managed to escape.

He's expected to undergo surgery in Campbelltown Hospital.

Police have arrested a 37-year-old man at Rosemeadow .. and he's due to appear today
in Campbelltown Local Court charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm.
